THE CREATION OF MISCELA MASINI
Miscela Masini was born in 1952 from an idea of Giampiero Segafredo and from the hands of his capable coffee roaster, Berto. This prized blend was planned and brought to reality specifically to celebrate the inauguration of two important locations in Bologna’s center, belonging, appropriately to Mr. Masini.
ESSSE CAFFÈ RELAUNCHES MISCELA MASINI
In 1979, nearly 30 years later, Francesco Segafredo, son of Giampiero, had the idea of recreating Miscela Masini for the newly established Essse Caffè. To do so, he sought out Berto, the coffee roaster who worked for Giampiero, a man of great experience and sensibility, who helped Francesco to recreate this special blend, in fact, Berto communicated to Francesco the secrets which give life to this excellent product. Once the original Miscela Masini was re-created, also thanks to the collaboration with the University of Bologna, this blend was obtained, which is excellent not only for the organoleptic characteristics, but also for the continuity of process.
