Our ongoing collaboration with the Faculties of Agriculture of the  Universities of Bologna, Cesena and Foggia has brought the best scientific know-how to the process of roasting our coffee:  first we established the best methods of processing in coffee production, and then we concentrated on researching the best organoleptic qualities in Italian espresso.

SAPIENCE

Essse Caffè was born at the end of the 1970’s, but its history has its roots in the early 1900’s.  The Sapience of Essse has a long tradition and unites the customs and the know-how of the Segafredo family in an ongoing collaboration with professionals in this sector, who in the last 40 years have accompanied us with in-depth knowledge, commitment, dedication and professionalism.

SPECIALIZATION

Beginning in 1979, we have worked along with thousands of professionals in the sector of coffee production;  thanks to this, we have become a point of reference.   Our daily mission is that of enabling our customers to extract a perfect Italian espresso, thanks to carefully selected and processed coffee beans and of offering a complete range of services and training.  Our intense and continuous activity, ever more specialized, has permitted us to develop the exclusive Sistema Espresso, an espresso-capsule machine, designed by Giugiaro Design, with the objective of obtaining a cup of espresso which is of the same high quality as the Essse espresso produced with our professional blends.
